HOME OF SALVATION MINISTRIES

Isa 55:6  Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Isaiah 43:7  Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

                    STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. We believe that there is only one God existing eternally in 3 persons: - God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit (Gen 1:26, Deut 6:4, Eph 4:4-6, 1 Cor 8:6, Matt 3:16-17)
  • God is our Father
  • God loves us
  • God is holy and just
  • Doing the dependable word of God’s grace will give us our inheritance, will make nations prosperous, progressive and communities wonderful places to live in.
  • He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary (Matt 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35).
  • He led a sinless life, took all our sins upon Himself, died and rose again, bodily (2 Cor 5:21, Luke 24:36-40).
  • He ascended into heaven bodily (1 Thes 4:16-17, Matt 24:30).
  • Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator (Eph 2:4-6, Heb 4:14, Heb 12:24).
  • We believe that salvation is the gift of God to man. This gift is achieved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and it produces works pleasing to God (Eph 2:4-10).
  1. We believe that the Bible contains the inspired and dependable Word of God (2 Tim 3:15-16, 2 Peter 1:20-21).
  1. We believe that sin has separated us all from God, and that only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God (Isaiah 59:2, John 14:6).
  2. We believe that Jesus Christ is both God and Man (Luke 1:26-35, Luke 19:10, John 1:1-4, John 10:30, Heb 1:1-5).
  1. We believe that we are justified by grace through faith alone, we cannot earn God’s favour by our works because it is a free gift, and God wants us to receive everything he has made available to us through His unmerited favour (Eph 2:8, Rom 3:21-26, Gal 2:21, Rom 5:17).
  2. We believe that when an individual receives the Holy Ghost he receives divine enablement for Christian service and witness (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8, 2:4, 3:1-26, 4:5-12).
  3. We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby). He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit (John 14:16-17, 1 Cor 12:7-11, Gal 5:22-25).
  4. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost. Being sanctified is to be set apart for God’s special purpose (Romans 15:16, 1 Cor 6:11).
  5. We believe that water baptism is an outward act that demonstrates a believer's identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus (Rom 6:3-4, Rom 6:8-11).
  6. We believe that the Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him (1 Cor 11:22-27).
  1. We believe God ordained marriage and the family as the foundational institution of human society, and that the only legitimate marriage is a sacred and permanent covenant relationship between one man and one woman, symbolizing the union of Christ and his Church (Eph 5:22-29, Heb 13:4).
  2. We believe God hates divorce, and therefore marriage is for life or until rapture (Malachi 2:16). Anyone marrying a divorced woman commits adultery, therefore those who are divorced must stay single, but widows or widower may remarry a qualifying spouse (I Cor 7).
  3. We believe that it is God’s will for us to be transformed by His Word and to live in success, prosperity and victory, to be healed and enjoy divine health. This is provided by the redemptive work of Christ on the cross (Rom 12:2, Rom 8:16-17, 37, 1 Peter 2:24, 3 John 2).
  4. We believe that God has called us to preach the gospel to all nations (Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18).
  5. We believe in the rapture of the Church and the second coming of Christ (1 Thes 4:16-17, Matt 24:29-30)
  1. We believe in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the former to eternal life and the later to eternal judgment (Rev 20:11-15, 1 Cor 15:12-23)
